| Puerarin (daidzein-8-C-glucoside) is the major bioactive isoflavone found in
kudzu root (the root of Pueraria lobata). Kudzu root is high in isoflavones,
such as daidzein, as well as isoflavone glycosides, such as daidzin and
puerarin. Depending on its growing condollowed by daidzin and daidzein. Puerarin
has estrogen-like effects. Puerarin significantly promotes uterus growth in
ovariectomized rats and infancy mice, increases the ratios of keratocytes in
vaginal smear in ovariectomized rats. It also has anti oxidant effect proven by
